  Quite a few years ago, myself and a good mate of mine stopped here in the middle of a road trip and had a few beers. The young barmaid treated us like absolute royalty. What a truly marvellous introduction to the town obviously we thought. I must admit, we stayed there for a few beers, but obviously we ensured we were under the limit before we departed. We left with the impression that Childers enjoys having 'out of town' people visit their facilities. Absolutely marvellous place.

  Stayed here in October 2011 and was happy to have a great time. Stayed in a balcony room for only $45 with fridge and fan. Lovely room and all clean and fresh. Bar staff were friendly and helpful and suggested other attractions in the area. Did a pub crawl and found the Grand had the cleanest and coldest beer in Childers.

  Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing and great value. Great aussie pub food, we'll cooked. Pop in and do yourself a favor!
